Eco Haven Ventures believes everyone should be afforded the opportunity to own a home and therefore create wealth. To support this mission, we develop multi-family residential and mixed use properties that are affordable and energy efficient. Multi-family homes allow individuals to pool their resources or offset their mortgage through rental income. Energy efficient homes promotes sustained ownership, allowing families to generate equity and participate in the economy at higher levels.
The Team
Anthony Dennis: With over 30 years of leadership experience in a combination of corporate and startup environments, Anthony has seen many successes in delivering the right solution to address customer needs. Having been through several property closings, he's experienced the benefits of homeownership first hand. He now aspires to see those benefits extend to others that have the dream of homeownership. Anthony has an undergraduate engineering degree from Rutgers and a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Patrick Telemaque: With over 25 years as a certified project manager, Patrick has been involved in countless new builds and renovation projects, primarily on the commercial end, for major financial institutions. He has always wanted a career that touched people's lives in a big way, therefore he obtained both a Real Estate license and a mortgage origination license with the mission of educating and equipping others with the information and resources needed to obtain their first home. Now as a developer, Patrick can provide homes to those who need it most. Patrick has an undergraduate engineering degree from Rutgers.
Median net housing value increased 44% between 2019 and 2022 creating wealth but also making homeownership unreachable for many. This increase is the largest recorded in modern history (Federal Reserve System - Changes in U.S. Family Finances from 2019 to 2022: Evidence from the Survey of Consumer Finances).
Nearly 1 in 4 households nationwide experienced high energy burdens in 2022 causing them to fall behind on their energy bills. These trends disproportionately impact lower income residents. There's an opportunity to begin addressing this issue with today's building technologies (U.S. DOE - Affordable Home Energy Shot Fact Sheet).
